Why do we keep defending Trump and think he's best to represent us?

In the realm of politics, loyalty often overrides logic. As a conservative deeply disillusioned by President Joe Biden's leadership, it's tempting to rally behind someone we perceive as a champion of our values. But do we truly believe Donald Trump is the epitome of our ideals?

Let's face it: the Democratic Party's stronghold on power is a concern for many conservatives. We question their motives and fear the erosion of our principles. However, blindly defending Trump only undermines our credibility.

Admittedly, there may be biased judges, and perhaps Merchan is one of them. But we cannot ignore Trump's own missteps. From the allegations of hush money payments to a porn star to his refusal to accept the election results, culminating in the events of January 6, 2021, Trump's actions have tarnished his legacy.

Despite his claims, not a single court has validated the notion of widespread election fraud. Are we to believe that every court in America is biased? Such a notion is unfounded.

As conservatives, we must hold ourselves to a higher standard. Blind allegiance to any leader, regardless of their party affiliation, is a disservice to our values. It's time to reassess our priorities and demand accountability from those who claim to represent us. Only then can we truly uphold the principles we hold dear.
